When I found out that my friend Ashley (the same Ashley I wrote about earlier) has cancer, I teared-up. I blamed God. Why is it happening to one of the nicest people that I know? I just cannot understand why ...... and it was so difficult to accept. That was October, last year. Instead of pitying herself and blaming God, this amazing lady decides to "Choose Joy" with life's worst curve ball thrown at her. Her positivity is beyond inspiring ......... at times unbelievable. When she began to lose her hair due to chemotherapy she shaved her head. Watching her "Rite of Passage" video was so heart wrenching for me. I cried buckets so be warned.
Her courage to fight cancer so joyfully and sharing her journey with the world so intimately is so inspiring. Please help pray for Ashley and her family.
Oh my... tears started to roll in just 2 mins of the video. I find the rites are somewhat comforting and it's so well documented. Have a speedy recovery Ashley!
